Effective leaders are essential to successful organizations. Leaders who are emotionally intelligent create a working climate that nurtures employees and encourages each to give their best. Insight Institute takes a multi-faceted approach to Leadership Development.

Through our program, Leading from Insight, Insight Institute helps leaders determine their strengths and then utilize them effectively for:

1) managing oneself
2) successfully relating to others
3) resiliency

This innovative program is available as a standard workshop, or can be customized for your organization. Either way, Leading from Insight, enables managers to be more successful by increasing their Emotional Intelligence.

Emotional Intelligence is recognized to be the differentiating factor in outstanding leadership effectiveness. To be exceptional, managers must be proficient at people leadership, organizational leadership and self leadership. Emotional Intelligence provides the underlying energy, skill and motivation to support all three of these leadership dimensions.

Leading from Insight is organized around the following format:

Individual Assessment. All participants complete the BarOn EQi in advance. This test is the first validated instrument that measures Emotional Intelligence. It is administered a second time upon completion of the program in order to evaluate individual progress and training effectiveness.

Classroom Training. Using didactic, reflective and interactive exercises, participants develop their Emotional Intelligence in a five-day curriculum.

Results: At the end of the program, participants:

  • Recognize how their Emotional Intelligence supports or constrains personal and leadership effectiveness.
  • Know how and when to apply powerful Emotional Intelligence techniques
  • Are motivated to implement their Emotional Intelligence development plan
